rng - the random generator

Returns:

a sample

getCutOff

Get the absolute value at which the kernel's response is essentially zero.

Returns:

the value for zero response

evaluate

double evaluate(double value)

Evaluate the kernel at the given value

Parameters:

value - the value

the kernel response
